Like many musicians, YouTubers and broadcasters today, you probably rely on the professional sound quality you get from an XLR microphone. But for mobile audio and video creation on the go, XLR microphones present some challenges. Many require phantom power, and even in the best case, using them also means carrying a laptop and an audio interface to provide the microphone preamps and phantom power you need. iRig Pre 2 is a pocket-sized microphone preamplifier that makes it easy to use your XLR microphones to record, perform and stream with your iPhone, iPad, Android device or DSLR camera.
